IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka formed in October 2011 is an integral part of the IEEE Sri Lanka Section. IEEE Young Professionals is a group of IEEE members and volunteers who have graduated with their first professional degree within the past 15 years. It is an international community, whose members are interested in elevating their professional image, expanding their global network, connecting with peers locally and giving back to their community. Since it encompasses all members from recent university graduates to experienced professionals and entrepreneurs, the group is highly diverse in what it offers.

AI-Driven Sri Lanka is an initiative by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka formed in 2020 that strives to bridge the gap between undergraduates and graduates of the AI Industry. Innovation Nation Sri Lanka
IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka is a program that aims at providing training, mentoring, financial support, and most importantly exposes the global market to budding entrepreneurs to take their idea to the next level.
LETs Talk
LETs Talk is a project started by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka in 2017 with the goal of enhancing the knowledge of young professionals by giving talks in collaboration with prominent members of the society on timely key subjects and other skills that are required in shaping up their careers.
Sri Lanka Inspire
IEEE Sri Lanka Inspire (SLInspire) is a collaborative project initiated by IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka and SL2College. It provides advice, knowledge, guidance, and motivation to school students in the country, assisting them in making informed decisions as they progress towards higher education and successful careers. IEEE SLInspire is an initiative by the IEEE Sri Lanka section that brings critical resources to assis.
IEEE StudPro
IEEE StudPro is an annual event hosted by the IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka that intends to expose the talents and skills of all fresh graduates and undergraduates in Sri Lanka to the corporate world immediately after graduation or during the last stages of their degree. It was first started back in 2017 and has continued its journey for 5 successful years.
Y2NPro
Young to Niche Professional” (Y2NPro) is a new initiative of IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka, aimed at providing niche technological learnings that are not typically covered by regular tech talks. Each workshop or short course is specifically tailored to a limited audience actively collaborating in the same professional field or aspiring to enter those fields.IEEE SLInspire is an initiative by the IEEE Sri Lanka section that brings critical resources to assis.

IEEE Access is a multidisciplinary, open access (OA), applications-oriented, all-electronic archival journal that continuously presents the results of original research or development across all of IEEE’s fields of interest.
IEEE Access will publish articles that are of high interest to readers, original, technically correct, and clearly presented. Supported by author publication fees (APC), its hallmarks are a rapid peer review and publication process with open access to all readers. Unlike IEEE’s traditional journals, reviews are “binary”, in that reviewers will either Accept or Reject an article in the form it is submitted in order to achieve rapid turnaround.
