What is this project?
This platform serves as the central digital hub for IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka. It replaces disjointed systems with a unified, modern web architecture powered by Next.js and Payload CMS.
Its primary objective is to manage the organization's community, streamline full-scale event registrations, facilitate merchandise sales, and publish dynamic content—all while providing project-specific isolation for flagship initiatives: INSL, AI Driven Sri Lanka, Let's Talk, StudPro, Y2N Pro, and SL Inspire.

Centralized CMS
A highly customized Payload CMS dashboard manages all website content—from homepage carousels to blog articles. It supports rich text, draft/publish states, and global configurations.
Advanced Event Management
Full-scale ticketing for free, paid, single, and multi-date events. Features include custom registration fields, bank slip uploads, discount coupon systems, and automated HTML ticket emails.
Multi-Project Isolation
Designed as a monorepo platform. Dedicated spaces for sub-projects (e.g., INSL, AI Driven SL). Project admins only see data, events, and media related to their specific initiative.
QR Scanner & Check-in
A built-in mobile-friendly QR scanner (/scanner) allows event coordinators to scan physical tickets. Features live attendance stats, day-specific filtering, and instant "Thank You" emails.
Merchandise Hub
E-commerce module for YPSL Merchandise. Supports product variants, size guides, image galleries, and discount codes. Orders sync directly to Google Sheets for logistical processing.
Committee Management
Structured display of Executive and Standing Committees separated by term years. Easy CMS management of member profiles, roles, and hierarchical ordering.
📝 Universal Document Generator
A visual, drag-and-drop document generator (Certificates, Service Letters) with CSV parsing, custom typography, and dynamic signature embedding. Generates cryptographically signed, verifiable PDFs entirely without a database. Securely backed by Payload CMS authentication.
🛡️ User Roles & Permissions (RBAC)
Admin
Full God-mode access. Can manage all users, projects, site configurations, and view all global data without restrictions.
Manager
Global content manager. Can manage global website content and view user data, but cannot configure core system settings.
Project Admin
Bound to a specific project. Can create events, manage project-specific discount codes, and view isolated registrations and media.
Project Manager
Content editors who assist Project Admins. Can edit project content but cannot access sensitive user management settings.
